Basic Course in Facilitation Skills for Participatory processes for WUR staff and postgraduates
Complex problems require innovative solutions. Innovative solutions are created when diverse stakeholders are able to meet, share experiences, learn together and contribute to decisions. Ultimate success lies in developing the collective commitment and capacity to turn ideas and plans into action. This can be achieved through facilitating multi-stakeholder processes (MSPs) and social learning.
A new course has been designed for WUR staff and postgraduates who are interested in basic concepts and ideas on multi-stakeholder processes, participation and facilitation and who want to develop their facilitation skills. Participants should be in a situation where they need to be managing or facilitating MSPs. The course is suitable for project and programme managers, researchers, postgraduate students, and teaching staff.
Course fee: € 1200,00. Reduced rates for postgraduates can be taken into consideration.
Applications should be received by the first of March 2004.
Course dates:
Part 1: 15 & 16 April 2004
Part 2: 3-4-5 June 2004
