Advanced students of the course on Global Food Security invite Wageningen scientists and students to take part in a special ‘cross-bench’ debate on controversial issues:
- enhancing agriculture to improve nutrition
- responsibility of the consumer
- acceptability of ‘unsafe’ food for relief purposes
- role of WTO in enhancing Food Security
- biotech in agriculture to save Africa
The position statements will be published on the WUR Bulletin board on April 6th.
The audience may be actively (mentally and physically) engaged in the debate.
The programme includes live music.
