10 apr 2008
Onderdeel: Wageningen IMARES
Locatie: Nantes, France

10th April 2008, From 9h00 to 17h00 at IFREMER in Nantes, France

The workshop is structured around two focal points:

  • a) temporal and spatial changes in biodiversity in marine ecosystems, observations and projections.
  • b) concepts of ecosystem functioning, in particular on the role of fish in ecosystems and interactions between different trophic levels/ guilds/ communities.

Special attention will be given to the effects of climate change on fish biodiversity and ecosystem functioning. Experts from the EU-project RECLAIM (Resolving Climatic Impacts on fish stocks) will participate. We also encourage PhD students and members of the MarBEF network to participate. Oral presentations of papers are possible and encouraged, please notify christine.rockmann@wur.nl. Deadline for enrolment is 3rd April 2008.
