FREE CHOICE

MINORS WAGENINGEN UNIVERSITY

Wageningen University has a long-standing tradition of free choice courses in every programme that allows you to design your own learning path. Most students at Wageningen University are interested in a wide range of topics. Choosing free choice courses provides you with the chance to think outside the box. It also allows you to deepen your knowledge and competencies within your own field of knowledge.

Minors at Wageningen University consist of sets of courses of 24 ECTS. The largest part of the BSc study programme is the major of 150 ECTS. The free choice space, besides the major, contains 30 ECTS.

Minors: stretch your potential!
It is always a challenge to choose a good set of free choice courses. The university offers minors in order to make this process easier. All minors are scheduled in either the first or second semester of the academic year.

The minors programme also offers opportunities to take a minor or to follow courses at another university in the Netherlands or abroad. Aside from the minors offered through the Wageningen University BSc study programme, you may also design your own individual minor or you may decide to just follow some courses.

Interested in a minor? Please check the list below for all the minors that Wageningen University offers. By clicking on Calendar Academic Year, and admission to minors you will find more information to help you make the best choice.
