BSc minors are developed for a wide range of BSc students. But a lot of minors were developed with specific group of WU BSc students in mind. Check the specific target groups (pdf) to help you make the right choice. But this doesn't mean students from other BSc programmes cannot take the minor. This depends on your interest and background. Some minor courses are also part of BSc majors. If there is an overlap with your programme, it is not possible to choose that minor. This is indicated in the matrix.

It is not possible yet to register for whole minors. Students have to register for the separate courses, just like for all other WU courses. Before you can start taking a minor, like for all free choice courses, you have to write a well-founded motivation of why you want to take this minor and how it fits in the Learning Outcomes of your programme. This proposal has to be approved by your study adviser.
On the form for the approval of your BSc programme (“goedkeuring vakkenpakket”) there is room for the name of your minor and the courses that belong to that minor. In this way the Student Service Centre knows what minor you took and will put the name of the minor on your BSc diploma after a successful completion of your BSc programme.
