| Wageningen University is part of Wageningen UR (University & Research centre).
The international ambition at Wageningen UR is evident from their ‘Strategic Plan 2007-2010’. A choice has been made for a differentiated approach: “Europe as home market”, “Upcoming Knowledge Economies” and “Developing Countries (MDGs).”
Both research and education are nationally and internationally oriented which can be seen from the students who come from over 100 countries. Wageningen International plays an important, international and coordinating role within Wageningen UR.
