Wageningen University has partners all over the world. We offer different types of international education by cooperating with partner universities. Examples are short exchange programmes, international internships and Double Degree programmes developed with partner universities. All MSc programmes are taught in English which emphasises our international character.

Moreover, Wageningen University has strategic partnerships with universities which are leading in Life Sciences and Agriculture. For example with KU-LIFE, a strategic partner in the top of three fields of education: Food Sciences, Nutrition and Horticulture. In addition, joint Master programmes are developed in the Erasmus Mundus programme. Please read further to see which possibilities Wageningen University can offer you.

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION POSSIBILITIES

DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAMMES

STUDENT EXCHANGE
With a Double Degree programme you study at two universities. Such a programme is a great opportunity to gain international experiences and to obtain a double degree upon finishing. This means when you graduate, you receive two diplomas, one from Wageningen University and one from the other university, in almost the same time as normally spent on one diploma. Please click on Double Degree programmes to see which opportunities Wageningen University has to offer you.

During a student exchange period, you study with fellow students from many different countries. Without delay for your regular programme, you can do courses in your Bachelor or Master programme at partner universities in or outside Europe. It is a great opportunity to gain intercultural experience.

If you are a student of Wageningen University and you want to see where you can go on student exchange, please check Student exchange for possibilities in Europe and Bilateral Exchange possibilities for outside Europe.
ERASMUS MUNDUS PROGRAMMES INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIPS
Erasmus Mundus Programmes are joint programmes offered by partner institutions in the member states. The European Union provides scholarships for participating students from outside as well as inside the EU. Wageningen University participates in four Erasmus Mundus programmes.   Internships are part of all MSc programmes. There are many opportunities to go abroad for an internship. Contact the coordinator of the chairgroup you want to supervise your internship. Chair groups often have their own network of international contacts that are available to students. You can discuss your preferred combination of science and geography with your coordinator. Internships are always tailor-made so it is essential to consult your internship coordinator well in advance.
