Note: this arrangement is only for students with a room guarantee/high priority.
Temporary alternative housing arrangements might be needed to overcome the expected shortage when all students arrive. We have found a attractive solution for students who at the moment of their arrival cannot immediately be provided with a room in one of the Idealis buildings. They will be offered temporary housing in the Brink Residence (part of "Hof van Wageningen") in Wageningen to cover a possible shortage the first few weeks. Depending on your arrival- and application date and the amount of rooms that become available you will be offered a room in one of the student buildings. Wageningen University will do it's best to offer you a room in one of the student buildings as soon as possible.

The rooms are non-smoking. Every apartment is furnished, and contains a small kitchen including pans and pottery, a bathroom, a living room with color TV and safe, and one ore more bed room(s). Unfortunately we can not tell in advance how long it will take before there is a room available for you. It depends on how many students arrive, how many find a room them selves at the private market and when you applied for a room. That is why some students will stay longer in the Brink Residence then others.
We also try to take every preference into account, although success is not guaranteed.
As soon as there is a room available for you, Student Housing will inform you by email. If you find a room at the private market your self, please inform student housing as soon as possible.
