Student Charter

The Student Charter formulates the rights and obligations of students at Wageningen University. All regulations like the Education and Examination Regulation, regulations on financial matters, or legal protection are part of the student charter.

Examining Boards

Wageningen University has four Examining Boards, responsible for the examination arrangements for one of the four groups of study programmes. Go to examining boards.

Student Council


The Student Council is a body of students which represents the interests of all students at Wageningen University. They have the possibility to give an opinion about the plans and policies of the board of the university. The Student Council also has the power to present initiatives to the board of the university. The board of the university is obliged to consider these initiatives seriously.

Student Activities Funding Committee

The Student Activities Funding Committee (CAS) is appointed by the Executive Board of Wageningen University. CAS is charged by the Executive Board with the actual allocation of the funding of ‘material costs’* for socio-cultural activities by and/or for students of Wageningen University.
