Student Charter 2011-2012

The Student Charter formulates the rights and obligations of students at Wageningen University. These rights and obligations are based on regulations at Wageningen University, but also on legislation that applies to students at all Dutch universities. The Charter is subject to change as a result of national legislation or policy changes at Wageningen University. These changes will be processed every year and included in the Charter. The Executive Board is responsible for the Student Charter. It makes the Charter known to students by publishing it, in both Dutch and English, on the website of Wageningen University. Rights can be derived directly from this Charter with the exception of the passages which, despite our best efforts, are in conflict with legislation. The Charter is divided in a programme specific part and an institutional part. The programme specific parts, dealing with the structure and courses of each programme, can be found in the study handbook. The institutional part of the Charter consists of the regulations mentioned on this page. The Student Charter 2011-2012 is decided upon on September 12, 2011 by the Executive Board after approval of the Student Council.
