Within the European Union a study credit system was agreed upon, so the grading of courses is done in the same way in all countries. This system is part of the ‘European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System’, or abbreviated: ECTS. All Socrates-Erasmus institutions can use the conversion table to transpose the grades into there local grades. Wageningen university suggest to uses the following table:
