First year BSc students
If you have submitted a request for enrolment 2012/2013 before May 1, you were not able to arrange the payment of your tuition fees (step 7). You can now do this by loggin' in on the Studielink website. On the site go to 'My enrolments', click first on 'Payment actions' and then on 'Fill in Payment details'. Please read 'How to fill in Payment details in Studielink' below.
If you submit a request for enrolment 2012/2013 in Studielink after May 1, please include step 7 before submitting the request. Please read 'How to fill in Payment details in Studielink' below.
Senior BSc and MSc students
When you submit a request for re-enrolment 2012/2013 in Studielink, please read below about how to fill in step 6 (Payment details).
Digital Authorisation
We urge students to choose for payment of tuition fees by digital authorisation. Please note, that you can only make use of digital authorisation if you have to pay a tuition fee of either € 1,771.00, € 4,834.00 or € 9,240.00, you have a Dutch bank account and you make use of DigiD. If a third person is paying your tuition fee, this person must also have DigiD.
How to fill in 'Payment details' in Studielink
First you have to choose: 'Who is paying the tuition fees'.
Then fill in 'Choice of Payment method'. Wageningen University is offering a number of payment methods. Please read below which methods are offered and what to fill in in Studielink.
Payment by direct debit (in one payment or multiple payments)
Choose in Studielink as Payment Method: 'From a Dutch account number'
Then select:
a. Digital authorisation (if you have DigiD), or
b. Bank authorisation directly from the institution for higher education (if you do not have DigiD).
Then fill in the data asked, such as name account holder, bank account number, number of instalments.
Please read carefully the conditions for payment by direct debit carefully.
Payment by transfer of tuition fees from a Dutch bank account
Choose in Studielink as Payment method: 'Using another method'
Payment by debit card (PIN) at the Student Desk in the Forum Building
Choose in Studielink as Payment method: 'Using another method'
Payment by making use of a 'Proof of Payment of Tuition Fees' at another Institute for Higher Education in the Netherlands
Choose in Studielink as Payment method: 'Using another method'
Payment by transfer of tuition fees from a foreign bank account
Choose in Studielink as Payment method: 'from a non-Dutch account (personal transfer)’.
Then fill in the data asked, such as name account holder, bank account number, etc.
Students who have to pay the high Institutional Fee (3) or receive a fellowship
Senior students who want to re-enrol in 2012/2013 and who must pay the high institutional fee (3) and who have received an invoice from Wageningen University are requested to choose in Studielink for payment method 'Using another method'.
Students whose tuition fees are paid or have been paid through a scholarship (e.g. from NFP), must also choose for 'Using another method'.
What happens after submitting your application for (re)enrolment?
After you have submitted your request for (re)enrolment including your payment details, Wageningen University will send you a letter + Payment Agreement Form. You must sign the Form and send it back to the address mentioned on the form.
If you have chosen to pay by digital authorisation, you will NOT receive the payment agreement form.
Instead Wageningen University will inform you via Studielink about the amount of tuition fee to be paid.
Then you have to confirm the payment in Studielink by giving a digital authorisation (using DigiD).
Please Note!
- When you choose for 'Payment by direct debit using Digital Authorisation': you have fulfilled your obligation to pay the tuition fees after you have confirmed the digital authorisation (using DigiD) in Studielink.
- When you choose for 'Payment by direct debit using the Payment Agreement Form': you have fulfilled your obligation to pay the tuition fees when we have received your payment form, filled in and signed correctly.
- When you choose for 'Payment by transfer from a bank account' or 'Payment by debit card (PIN)': you have fulfilled your obligation to pay the tuition fees when we have received your payment agreement form, filled in and signed correctly, and the required amount is credited to the account of Wageningen University.
