One of the conditions for enrolment 'as a student' for a regular BSc or MSc programme is payment of the required tuition and examination fees.
Wageningen University recognises 3 types of tuition fee for the academic year 2009/2010:
Statutory tuition fee

Low Institutional fee
€ 1,620.00
High Institutional fee
€ 9,250.00

For 'Linkage programme' students the tuition fee is the same that they would have to pay for the MSc programme.
The following exceptions apply to category a.:
1. students recognised by the UAF as a refugee student
2. students who can prove that they have lived in the Netherlands for the last five years and have a permanent residence permit for the Netherlands
3. students of whom at least one of the parents lives in the Netherlands, for at least the duration of the study programme of the student concerned
4. students who are partner of a WU or VHL student with the nationality of an EU or EFTA country
5. students who are partner of a WU PhD student (all nationalities) for at least the duration of the study programme of the student concerned
Students belonging to the above-mentioned groups are entitiled to pay the tuition fee as mentioned under b.
Some students are applicable for special rates if their organisation has signed an agreement with Wageningen University. Please contact the Student Service Centre for information.
Students who are entitled to pay the statutory fee of € 1,620.00 do not receive an invoice for the tuition fee nor do they receive a giro slip. The tuition fee should be paid according to the conditions as mentioned in the Student Registration Handbook.
Students who started their programme earlier that September 1, 2009, and who received an invoice for the (high) institutional fee, pay the institutional fee for the academic year 2009/2010 as mentioned on the invoice they received before starting the programme. Please contact the Student Service Centre if anything is not clear.
