On this page we would like to provide you with information on what you need to do before your travel to the Netherlands.
We strongly advise you to plan your arrival in Wageningen in September/February in the mentioned arrival week/day. As soon as you have secured a fellowship or you have received an invoice you will receive our arrival form which must be used to inform us about your scheduled arrival date, flight number and arrival time.
To make your trip to the Forum more comfortable we provide you with Travel information which you may print out. Do not forget to check the Dutch weather before leaving.
In order to become a resident of the Netherlands and a student at Wageningen University you need to arrange a couple of documents. More information about the required documents you can find here. The Student Service Center as well as the official authorities will ask you to provide them. Most of the documents you have to provide should be legalized or provided with an appostille.
The International office of the Student Service Centre will start your entry visa & residence permit procedure after payment and receipt of all required documents.
Student housing is organized in a special way at Wageningen University. Student housing is the allocating authority for all international visitors with a room guarantee. For more information click here.
