The conference provides an up-to-date overview of scientific developments in statistical and mathematical methods applied to the life sciences. There will be sessions on applications in environmental research, genetics, food safety and
mathematical modelling. Current developments in statistics and mathematics
education will also be reviewed.
This conference marks the start of Biometris, which is the merger of the
Centre for Biometry of Plant Research International and the Mathematical and
Statistical Methods Group of Wageningen University.
