 As a research school and postgraduate (exchange) network, CERES offers training and research facilities to Dutch and foreign PhD's. The annual Summer School is one of CERES' training components, and offers the opportunity to develop thinking and writing in interaction with prominent national and international researchers. Although Summer School participation is mainly intended for CERES' members, PhD candidates, postdocs and academic staff from related research schools are also invited to participate. The CERES Summer School 2001 offers participants the opportunity to: debate emerging issues present and discuss work-in-progress and discuss how to improve conditions for (all generations of) researchers to gain new insights, to overcome problems with writing, to be challenged, or to deliver a product called article, report or dissertation.
