 During CA2001 postharvest scientists from all over the world will share the latest developments in CA and related research. The need for environmentally safe technologies for storage, packaging and transport of fresh agro-products has given an enormous stimulus for CA research. Several related topics will be dealt with during the conference. On an exposition various companies will be present and relevant postharvest technologies will be demonstrated. CA2001 will be held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. After seven editions in the USA, it is the first time that it will be held in Europe. It will be a good oppurtunity for many scientists, producers, decision and policy makers, quality control managers and others to take notice of the latest CA and postharvest developments.
