A course for people involved in policy formulation and action planning. For people from NGO's, private and public sector involved in urban agriculture for poverty alleviation and management or even re-vitalization of new and old cities. The course discusses practical cases and theoretical backgrounds to the problems and opportunities of integration of urban agriculture in sustainable urban development. It also provides methodologies and participatory approaches to assist participants in preparing action plans for their own conditions. The range of specialists and experience represented by the organizers and the participants themselves quarantees access to up to date information and networks
