This annual workshop is typically characterised by one-hour presentations by experienced lecturers, taking time to thoroughly introduce each subject. The objective is to provide participants with advanced knowledge, both theoretical and practical, on the fish immune response. Emphasis will be placed on innate immunity and macrophages, natural antibodies, cytokines, neuro-endocrine-immune interactions, cell-mediated cytotoxicity and anti-microbial peptides. The level of the workshop is targeting company and academic researchers as well as staff in the aquaculture industry. PhD students are more than welcome. The number of participants is limited to 30 persons, admitted on a ‘first-come’ basis.
Registration fee is € 300 (Ph.D.), € 400 (academic staff) or € 500 (company staff). For ALL-IN registration (including accommodation and all meals) add € 400 for the whole workshop period.
