The theme of this symposium with the subtitle ‘Stakeholders’ struggle for power in the food supply chain’ will be power relations within the agricultural food supply chain. Five prominent guest speakers will give their vision on this theme. These speakers are Antony Burgmans (Unilever), Noël Devisch (Boerenbond Belgium (a farmers association), Kees Menkhorst (Royal Cosun), Jan-Willem Grievink (FoodService Institute) en Marc Jansen (CBL).
This symposium is organised for students, employees from WUR and for business people. It is a full-day program with five guest presentations and a concluding discussion. Chairman of the day is Gert van Dijk, professor of the Marketing and Consumer Behaviour Group at Wageningen, professor at Nyenrode Business University and director of the Dutch National Co-operative Council.
