Scope
Tropical forests continue to get much international attention. In many cases this attention is related to small- and large-scale destruction. Remaining tropical forests are used, but also abused. Sustainable management is needed, and should be based on sound ecological, social and economical information. This mini symposium is organised within the scope of the PhD course “Tropical Forest Ecology and Management” (19-23 June). During the mini symposium recent developments in tropical forest management in Bolivia, will be presented and discussed.
Target Group and Costs
The symposium is directed at a broad public (universities, DGIS, Kenniscentrum, NGOs, etc.). Participation is free of charge.
