Poultry nutrition

The goal of the course is to provide a concise update on the principles of poultry nutrition and climate together with an insight in the latest developments against the background of a changing societal appreciation of poultry production practices. The focus will be on theoretical background information with a spin-off to applicable solutions

The course is intended for nutritionists, advisors, veterinarians, managers, teachers, researchers and other professionals involved in poultry production. Basic knowledge of feedstuffs and diet formulation and the principles of the chemical and biological evaluation of feedstuffs in an agricultural context is assumed. Presentations and documentation will be given in English.

Course fee € 1050 (including dinner on 19 and 20 may, lodging on 19 may, tuition and course materials).
