 The recently published book 'Multi-stakeholder platforms for integrated water management', edited by Jeroen Warner, will be launched with a roundtable and drinks.
 
The book, published with Ashgate, brings together theory and practice of conflict and participation with case studies from four continents, and is inspired by the work of Niels Röling. Authors include well-known scholars like Bruce Mitchell, Malcolm Newson and Nigel Watson, as well as various researchers involved in the multi-stakeholder platforms project at the Irrigation and Hydrology groups at Wageningen University.
 
The panel comprises four people who see the participatory water management platforms as a 'new' form of governance' from very different professional angles:
- John Butterworth, IRC Delft (water and sanitation)  (to be confirmed)
- Ann Crabbé, University of Antwerp
- Paul Engel, CIMM Maastricht
- Leo Santbergen, Brabantse Delta water board (one of the authors)
Prof. dr. Linden Vincent of the Irrigation and Water Engineering chair group, will chair the session.
