The Wageningen UR Week of Cultural Diversity takes place from 15 -21 September 2008 in Wageningen. Activities ongoing during the program range from lectures, workshops and interactive dialogue and exchanges, to hands on participatory events, music and arts.
The main goal of the Week of Cultural Diversity is to share ‘best practices’ to enhance further activities that inspire people to really meet each other. Everybody is welcome to participate: through presenting an activity or as a participant.
For organizing the week, a group of enthusiastic students offered their help. 20 (mainly student-) organizations participated in a meeting the Rector Magnificus invited them for to brainstorm about the program. Also groups like orchestra Sound of Science, Language Services, organization KLV, Studium Generale, Counseling & Health Services, Educational Staff Development Group, Student Chaplaincy, the Forum management and Albron cooperate.
