During this day PhD students of WIAS will present results of their research and there will also be invited speakers.
You go to www.wias.nl, to courses and seminars, to WIAS Science Day, and you will see the registration button. The deadline for your registration is Thursday 6th of March 2008, which is the same deadline to cancel your registration. Everyone who comes to the WIAS Science Day has to register, also the people who give a oral/poster presentation.
Furthermore the education and publication prize of 2007 will be awarded. Participation in the WIAS Science Day is free of charge, and lunch and drinks afterwards are included if you register.
To finish the day, there will be a dinner at the restaurant of the Hotel De Nieuwe Wereld at the Marijkeweg. The dinner is also free of charge, but there is a limit of 40 places. Tickets for the dinner will be given on a first-"registered", first-served basis, therefore, we advise you to register for the dinner as soon as possible. There are still some places left, so don't wait too long.
