Agri-ProFocus network members AgroFair, ICCO and Wageningen UR, together with Schuttelaar & Partners cordially invite you to an informal network event for professionals in the banana industry, on Friday 21 November, 3 - 5 hrs pm at Café Stroom, Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Central theme: possibilities and challenges in developing a sustainable banana production in Africa. The event aims at bringing together business, research, government and NGO professionals in order to explore opportunities to jointly develop a sustainable African banana chain. There will be a debriefing of the international banana conference (Mombasa, 5 - 9 October) and the BananaLink multistakeholder forum (Amsterdam, 8 – 10 October 2008), including an exploration of the resulting next steps.

    select group of decision makers in the banana sector (max 30 participants) together in an informal setting
