Unit:
Wageningen Funds
Location:
Aula, Wageningen University
Organisation:
Anne van den Ban Fonds
The concert will be given by Mariska Wessel, mezzo soprano, and Peter Bark, piano. The program is a musical world tour, with songs by by Granados, Rachmaninoff, Dworsjak and others and piano works by De Falla and Chopin.
Mariska Wessel is a colorful, versatile singer, classically trained at the conservatory in Arnhem but also at home in light music. Mariska and Peter not only perform but also give explanations of the songs, which makes the concert more than a musical experience.
Tickets are 15 euros and can be bought in the lobby of the auditorium. Doors open 19:30.
The Anne van den Ban Fund gives scholarships to promising students from developing countries and Central and Eastern Europe to enable them to study at Wageningen University. Each year dozens of students rely on the fund.
All sponsors, students and staff are welcome!
