A Walking Dinner in the Restaurant of the Future

On the occasion of World Food Day
we invite you to a special event which will stimulate both your palate and your mind. The evening will be held in two courses:

1. Dinner
The meal will be introduced by drinks, small group guided tours to adjoining research rooms and a special welcome by Chef Johan Verbon.

2. Lectures in Honor of World Food Day:
“Global Food Policy, Nutrition and Health”

  • Presenter 1: Marianne van Dorp: Trends in global food systems and impact on health and nutrition
    Why have States failed to reduce the number of undernourished citizens over the past years, when countries under the United Nations Millennium Development Goals have agreed to reduce poverty, hunger and malnutrition substantially by 2015?
     
  • Presenter 2: Sander Kersten: From Food to Nutrition and Health
    In what way will the Genomics (Companies) of the future change our food, our diet and the health strategies all over the planet?
