Agribusinesses operating in Ethiopia now have a practical guide to help them improve their corporate social responsibility. The brochure ‘Inspiring practices in corporate responsibility’ suggests ways to boost their performance with regard to People, Planet and Profit.

In Ethiopia, entrepreneurs are becoming increasingly interested in corporate social responsibility. It strengthens their business, helps them attune with their surroundings and gives them a better position on the market. The Dutch and Ethiopian Ministries of Agriculture want to make this visible and further stimulate the Ethiopian commercial agricultural and horticultural sector. ‘Inspiring practices in corporate responsibility’ contains guidelines and practical tips about corporate social responsibility (CSR). The brochure was produced with the support of LEI; the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation (EL&I); the Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture (MoARD); and the Ethiopian Horticulture Producer and Exporters Association (EHPEA).
