The C.T. de Wit Graduate School for Production Ecology and Resource Conservation (PE&RC) aims at understanding the functioning of (agro-) ecosystems enabling the development of sustainable and multifunctional production- and land use systems. Within the Graduate School PE&RC fundamental/strategic, disciplinary and interdisciplinary scientific research is conducted in an integrated way on issues related to both the agricultural and natural components of the rural environment. The education programme of PE&RC aims at acquiring in-depth knowledge of specific research issues, as well as broadening the PhD candidate's scientific scope and competences and integrating their own work in other research areas. |
